My son had a cough a couple of week ago.  Took him to doctor and he was swabbed for pertussis/whooping cough.  The initial fast result was negative.  The culture itself was positive!  He was treated with antibiotics last week; he’s fine now.  I am worried we’ve exposed people.  He was never really sick, just coughing.  Looking forward to my call from the city health department.  Be careful city people.  If you have a cough that won’t go away see your doctor!
